Chemical peels, chosen for your skin rather than a menu.

A peel uses a controlled chemical exfoliation to renew the surface of the skin. Depth and formulation determine what it can treat — and who it is safe for.

Professional peel solutions, including salicylic acid and trichloroacetic acid, prepared on a treatment tray

Candidacy

What it’s good for

  • Dullness and uneven tone
  • Clogged pores and mild acne
  • Superficial pigmentation and melasma in selected patients
  • Rough texture and fine lines
  • Maintenance between more intensive treatments

How it works

The mechanism, plainly

Acids at defined concentrations loosen the bonds between surface skin cells, prompting renewal and, at deeper levels, stimulating collagen.

We perform Jessner's, salicylic acid, mandelic acid, TCA and Phenol-Croton peels, along with no-downtime glow peel options for an immediate refresh.

Formulation is chosen for your skin type and concern; some acids carry more risk of pigment change in deeper skin tones, so selection matters.

Superficial peels can be repeated in a series; deeper peels are performed less often.

The visit

What to expect in the room

  • Skin is cleansed and prepared, and eyes are protected.
  • The peel is applied and timed closely; you may feel tingling, warmth or stinging.
  • The peel is neutralized or removed, and soothing products and sunscreen are applied.
  • The visit generally takes 30 to 45 minutes.

Recovery

Downtime and aftercare

  • Redness and tightness for a day or more
  • Flaking or peeling beginning day two or three, lasting several days
  • Strict sun protection during healing
  • Temporary sensitivity to active skincare

What this treatment will not do

Peels do good, steady work on surface concerns. They will not tighten significantly lax skin or correct deep scarring, and aggressive peeling in the wrong skin type can cause pigment problems. Selection is the whole game.

Cosmetic treatments are not covered by insurance. Payment is due at the time of booking, and a cosmetic consultation is $150. Pricing is subject to change, and a consultation may be required before treatment.
