Insurance does not cover the treatment of alopecia due to TELOGEN EFFLUVIUM (shock hair loss) or ANDROGENETIC ALOPECIA (hormonal/aging). These are the most common types of hair loss, now affecting most people on GLP-1 inhibitors as well. Katherine Dolney, PA is now seeing patients for both weight management and hair loss, cash pay.

We offer a range of treatment including topicals, oral medication & supplements, microneedling with platelet rich plasma or exosomes, nanofat injections coming soon (follow up with Dr. Gaul), and advice on what works. If a biopsy is recommended, you will have a follow up for that procedure with Dr. Gaul with option for insurance coverage.
