Who we are
Maren Gaul, DO
Triple Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Dermatology and Mohs Surgery
After receiving her BA from Saint Olaf College, she started volunteering in Americorps at a community health center, where she was able to realistically confirm her calling to medicine. She attended ATSU-SOMA and continued the connection with community health centers while attaining her doctorate in osteopathic medicine. Between her first and second year, she visited her parents and was able to correctly identify melanoma on her father, for which he brags saved his life, and which demonstrates the worthwhile cause of her long career path. She completed her dual residency in Internal Medicine and Dermatology through Ohio University, standing on the shoulders of a diverse group of collaborative dermatologists in the Cleveland/Akron area. She is Board-Certified by the AOBD in Mohs Surgery, which she has been performing since 2018 in Alaska and South Dakota. She finds the most purpose and privilege in connecting with people and removing their skin cancers. Dr. Gaul looks forward to running a private practice with a team of collaborative caregivers seeking connection, growth, and excellence each day.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, skiing, and attempting tennis and golf. She is currently learning piano with her 3 children, and her husband tolerates the noise.
